Hi, and welcome to Riverpath Shiatsu! I am glad that in your search for wellness you have found me, so let’s start off by telling you a little about my practice.
I grew up in an environment where the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine were commonplace, as both of my parents are shiatsu therapists and acupuncturists. When I was 15, my mother introduced me to qi gong, and after having a very visceral experience of Qi, my interest in the principles and practice of Asian medicine continued to grow. In 2002 I graduated from Minnesota Center for Shiatsu Study, now called Centerpoint School of Massage and Shiatsu Therapy. I have had a vibrant Asian bodywork practice in South Minneapolis since 2005, which includes Namakoshi and Anma Shiatsu (Japanese therapeutic bodywork), Tui Na (Chinese medical massage), Chi Nei Tsang (internal organ massage) and Qi Gong (breath and movement). I am currently also teaching Shiatsu at Centerpoint.
My practice is located in the Longfellow neighborhood in South Minneapolis, in a traditional Chinese Medicine clinic where other services such as acupuncture, herbal medicine and cupping are offered by other practitioners. I strive to offer my clients a peaceful, relaxed and nurturing environment to experience the powerful healing and empowering effects that these modalities offer. I am also available for home visits, and I offer chair massage services, perfect for office environments and events. Please take a look around, learn more about what Shiatsu has to offer, book an appointment online, or contact me if you would like to know anything more. I look forward to working with you soon.
Sincerely,
